“ Service here is always a bit all over the place. It busy which is a good sigh that they're doing well. When we checked in, it was a bout a half hour wait for first available. As we wanted a cocktails with our meal, there's certain tables that will offer it. Not the one along the street, license wise. We ended up having a seat along the bar which was nice. Waitress that started with us was a bit all over the place. Got the initial greeting but sort of disappeared and never came back. It was a while till a gentleman came and took our order. Mentioned that he's taking over. Food wise, it was ok this visit. Bloody Mary was ok, food was ok as well. Service was just a bit all over the place. Went with the chorizo and eggs served with potatoes. It was just ok, should have went with what I had last time, the chicken sandwich. The build your own omelette was ok was well. A little skimpy on the items for the filling. Mushroom and spinach and like three piece of the sun dried tomatoes. Overall, it was ok. ”
“ Really good place! Parking in the back with validation which is nice. Only complaint is it's a little bit cramped in the restaurant. They do have some outside seating though. Chilaquiles and the breakfast burrito are both fantastic! Coffee is tasty and you can even add a custom image on top if you're into that. Staff are all friendly and service is quick. Would definitely come again! ”
“ Such an adorable place! It's been several years since I've been to Red Maple at their previous location - and based on the crowds on MLK Jr Day, the expanded location was a great move. Parking is on the street or behind the Cafe in the paid lots. There's room for everyone. Putting our names in was easy enough - patrons get a text when their table is ready. However, there's no designated waiting area and things got awkward real fast not knowing where to stand. Outside, it was hot in the sun and very windy with the Santa Anas. It was a delicate dance waiting half an hour and not being in anyone's way! Once seated, we were at the back patio under a much needed heat lamp. Our waiter was great and attentive. Top notch. Lattes come with celeb art and my Betty White was too cute. My boyfriend enjoyed his crispy chicken sandwich and I enjoyed it chicken club. I'm sorry to say I could have made the equivalent so next time, I'd like to try breakfast since Red Maple's menu is breakfast heavy and I'll skip lunch. ”
“ My mother-in-law has been raving about this spot and we finally made it there together. I obviously had to get a latte, I don't recall the flavor but the celebrity matching name is the Chris Hemsworth. I was told it was the most popular latte on the menu but they let me choose a different celebrity, so I had to go for the queen. Latte was great! Menu was vast and they serve breakfast all day. I opted for my go to breakfast at any restaurant, chilaquiles, loved the chicken rings accompanied by it. Service was excellent, interior had a retro vibe but with a modern look. Loved my visit ”
“ If you want a brunch spot that gives off good vibes this is your spot. It's a little hidden gem in Toluca lake across the street from Trader Joe's. Coffee: 5/5 strong & not overly sweet Food: 4.5/5 extensive menu & various options Service: 4/5 they were busy on a Sunday afternoon as expected Their menu is extensive, not only their food menu but also their coffee menu. As a coffee lover I was excited to see the large coffee menu, there's something on it for everyone. My favorite part was the pictures printed on top of your latte! For brunch I ordered the chilaquiles. The portion was a good size and it came with chicken tinga and 2 eggs! The tortilla chips were crispy and the sauce had a bit of spice. They were filling, but weren't really my favorite as I do prefer a red sauce over a green. However, I do look forward to coming back and trying other menu items. ”
“ Top notch service at this super cute hoppin breakfast and lunch spot packed with charm. Prices range from about $17.00 ish per dish I ordered french toast with a side of applewood extra crispy bacon. Everything was off the hook. I washed it down with never ending coffee. We also had their famous chilaquilies which were equally delicous. Their menu consists of breakfast and lunch staples with a twist. A very extensive coffee menu as well. Their service alone was a solid 10 stars. Parking in the back or on the street. ”
“ Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 I was searching for a highly rated breakfast spot and came across this gem. The picture-printed lattes and great food selection caught my attention, so I decided to give it a try. I went on a Saturday morning around 10 am, and the place was already busy. More people started arriving after we were seated. I ordered the chicken and waffles and an omelet, along with a mug of coffee (I wanted to avoid a paper cup). The coffee comes with free refills if you order it by the mug, which was a nice touch. The food was reasonably priced, filling, and had a well-balanced flavor. The indoor decor was charming and well maintained. They also have a big parking lot, and they validate parking, which was convenient. The staff was friendly and checked on our table often. I'd definitely come back! ”
“ Our food was very delicious. I ordered the brisket greenwich and my husband ordered the brisket breakfast burrito. The brisket was very good but made my waffle slightly soggy. The burrito was very flavorful and the green salsa was delicious. The service was phenomenal and the decor was adorable. Overall, I would definitely come back and try some of their other items. They have cookies and alcohol by the bar as well. They also validate parking. ”
“ Had a nice Sunday brunch here and was pleasantly surprised at some of the interesting choices on the menu! I was mildly worried whether the coffee and lattes would be tasty or if they simply rely on the printed foam gimmick but luckily they were very well made, and priced pretty standardly. We got the chicken and waffles with the ube cream and though the flavor of everything was good, I will say that I tend to prefer my waffles a touch crispier, and I was honestly expecting pieces of fried chicken as opposed to the fried breast fillet. Their Italian sandwich caught me by surprised and though a little bit salty for my wife's taste, we both agreed that we would likely order it again when we come back. All in all, a fantastic experience and good place to have brunch despite what I consider small nitpicks. ”
“ One of the only cons about this place is the wait, but it's because people love it here so I can't really blame them! The menu is enormous so there's definitely something for everyone. The waiter was lovely and incredibly patient with us while we worked through the menu. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and we split a waffle. Both pretty simple items but were somehow SO good here. I also got a tea latte which was adorable (they put a foam art Dolly Parton on top which deserves an extra star obviously.) Would love if the outside tables had umbrellas for shade though. ”
